Overview
The Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence is a research university based in Abu Dhabi devoted exclusively to artificial intelligence. It awards master’s and doctoral degrees and, since 2025, a Bachelor of Science in AI.
Its research covers machine learning, computer vision and natural language processing, with particular attention to Arabic language processing, an area underrepresented in major international models.
The institution is one of the pillars of the UAE’s artificial intelligence strategy, aiming to train locally the researchers and engineers the regional ecosystem needs.
